Rhinoplasty – Case 345
Our patient has a large and poorly shaped nose which she want changed. The shape of her nose is unfortunately not suitable for either male or female although it has a masculine appearance.
Good improvement has been achieved by removing her bump, rotating her tip and overall making her nose smaller. The length of her nose has been foreshortened.
The residual roundness of her tip seen on frontal view may continue to improve with time. The tip is almost always the last part of a nose to settle. Sometimes there continues to be ongoing improvements in year two and three. These of course are very slight and subtle although they bring more definition to a tip.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
