Rhinoplasty – Case 362
This gentleman decided to undergo rhinoplasty surgery because he disliked the curve to his profile and the droopiness to his nasal tip. Both these issues were successfully improved with his nose job surgery. His nose is overall smaller, but he does not have a small nose after surgery.
A male nose needs to be of a certain size to maintain its masculine appearance. It can be seen on frontal view that unfortunately his surgery created a slight twist to his nasal tip which was not present before the rhinoplasty.
This illustrates the fact that cosmetic surgery is not perfect and even in the best of hands issues can unfortunately arise. This patient did not find this imperfection objectionable, as he was happy with the overall improvements.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
