Rhinoplasty – Case 314
Our pleasant young woman disliked her nose. She found it too big at the bottom, too masculine, too low and twisted.
Surgery creates improvement. It can’t produce perfection. There are usually minor issues such as imperfections, asymmetries and irregularities afterwards. Although both the patient and surgeon strive for perfection, it usually remains only their goal. With patient who have reasonable expectations the overall improvement outweighs any small imperfections.
Here the twist to her nasal tip remains. The other goals have been reached as her nose is softer and feminine, her tip narrower and less counter rotated. Overall it is also smaller. She is happy and glad she went ahead with her rhinoplasty.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
