Rhinoplasty – Case 331
Patients with thick skin unfortunately cannot have a dramatic improvement has those with thinner skin. Patients who have had a previous nose job cannot expect the same degree of improvement as those undergoing a primary rhinoplasty. This lady who underwent revision rhinoplasty surgery is a good example.
There has been subtle degree of improvement in the symmetry of her nose and in the roundness of her nasal tip as her Columella was able to be raised so that it no longer appeared drooping. In addition her profile was able to made straight. On basal view it can be appreciated her nose has been make smaller. Given the thickness of the skin, this is a significant change.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
