Rhinoplasty – Case 355

This young ladies nasal tip was twisted and wide. She also had a mild nasal pump. There has been improvement following her rhinoplasty to the degree her nasal tip is twisted and this is best to accessed on her basal view. The fleshy part of the nose between her nostrils and just blow her nose call the Columella is retracted upwards and thereby covered by the sides of her nostril. This is an abnormal appearance and should be corrected. Unfortunately this often proves difficult and this case illustrates a typical degree of improvement that can be achieved.

These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
