Rhinoplasty – Case 385
This young woman’s rhinoplasty focussed primarily on her nasal hump and the width of her nose. Although her dorsal nasal hump is mild on profile is still noticeable on all pictures. Because of the thickness of her nasal skin the tip of her nose has yet to settle as it takes sometimes over a year for the skin to tighten and shrink wrap around the changed framework of the nose.
On frontal view the narrowing of her bridge and tip can be recognized. Her nostrils are narrow but remain asymmetric. This is rarely an issue as it is seldom recognized except on basal view.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
