Case 234Rhinoplasty
Read Case StudyThis pleasant young lady is a good example of a deviated septum causing an external crookedness. Rhinoplasty to correct external deviations or crooked noses is difficult surgery. This is partially due to the need for all the parts that create the crookedness to be successfully corrected. In this example her septum must be straightened along with the nasal tip cartilages that are tilted and the nasal bones that are deviated. The requirement that all three elements must be successfully corrected drives down the overall probability.
There has been a significant improvement after her nose job although the nose still remains subtly tilted to her ride. Other issues that were corrected was her over projecting tip, narrowing off her nasal tip, straightening her distal septum that is poking into her right nostril and smoothing out her super tip break point that is slightly excessive.
