Rhinoplasty – Case 347
This female rhinoplasty patient did not like the diamond shaped nasal bridge on frontal view and felt her tip projected to far and was not rotated sufficiently. She desired an overall smaller nose. These goals were achieved during her rhinoplasty.
There was a large tip reduction required, called Weir incisions, to reduce the flaring of her nostrils. The nostrils became shorter as a result of reducing the size of her nose but also became more arched like then before her surgery. This sometimes is unavoidable.
These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
