Rhinoplasty – Case 369

On frontal view this nose requires little rhinoplasty improvement. Her nasal tip is well shaped, however her columella underneath the tip is mildly asymmetric from the deviation of her septum. Improvement here often is not a lot unfortunately but in this case good symmetry was achieved. The bridge between her eyes is mildly too wide and this again was improved. This is an unusual issue.

The concern our patient had was the masculine appearance of her nose arising primarily from the mild nasal pump and insufficient tip rotation. There was overall sufficient improvement to meet our patient’s expectations and therefore she was happy she underwent surgery.

These before and after photos show a typical result by the rhinoplasty surgeon Dr Oakley Smith from Toronto.
